WP 5

The goal of this WP is to support mangrove conservation and restoration by transferring knowledge to local communities. First, a governance analysis will be performed by identifying specificities of Mozambique’s governance system, including management instruments and involved players(T5.1). This requires literature analysis and stakeholder consultation . Then, based on the results from previous WPs and existing guidelines at global levels, we intend to develop best practice guidelines for policy, planning and management (T5.2).
